Interior Home Watch

Disarm alarm system (if one is in use)

Check that HVAC system is running and maintaining temperature

Check ceilings, floors and walls for water intrusion

Check for pests/insect intrusion

Check for mold and mildew (visual no tools)

Check all windowsills for water and insect intrusion (active)

Check sliding doors are secure

Check walls below windowsills for evidence of water intrusion (visual or touch no tools)

Flush all toilets to check for leaks and proper fill. If a toilet brush is provided next to the toilet, we will brush off any water line marks.

Run all sinks, showers, and tubs to check for possible leakage around fixtures and inside the cabinets

Check to ensure refrigerators and freezers are cold or ice is on or off depending on preference.

Run the garbage disposal

Check washing machine lines and valves for leaks and units for standing water.

Turn off lights and fans left on.

Check the breaker box notify if tripped breaker.

Check garage door for operation and condition.

Visually check the HVAC unit from the ground (no ladder usage)

Check vehicles for flat tire or oil leaking and fill tire air if low.

Check the roof as seen from the ground

Check The gutters, downspouts, soffits and fascia.

Check doors, windows, and screens for signs of forced entry or wear and tear.

Monitor landscaping

Check Lanai screens and doors condition and fuction.

Check Irrigation system (broken sprinkler heads, even water distribution adjust timer at your request)

Check HVAC condensing unit and condensation drip pipe

Check Pool (color and water level)

Check for Pest activity, wasp nests, etc.

Check the entryway for mail or marketing material bring inside.

Check the mailbox, bring the mail inside.

Dispose of trash

Check for cracks in the stucco

FAQ
Are you a licensed home inspector?

No. Licensed home inspectors typically are involved in the sale of a home or when an issue exists that is not obvious to get to the bottom of how it happened. Home Ally is not a home inspector. We will watch after your home at your absence and report back to you any issues we find. If you are out of town consistently this allows you to have a set of eyes looking out for your home.
Are your services expensive?

Our services are reasonably priced. The cost associated with an issue should one arise while you are out of town going unnoticed and therefore untreated is much more expensive.
Are there any contracts?

We do have a form all clients are required to sign which holds me harmless of any damage to the property if caused by nature disaster, break ins etc. If I break something personally I would be liable. There is no contract for service plans you can pay as you need me or pay monthly if you know you'll need ongoing services. Partial payment is due before arrival to cover travel.
What if I hire you and my home gets damaged by something you miss?

At each visit to your home I will take photos of all rooms and the exterior of your home. I can not control what happens when I am not there but the photos will show proof and give you peace of mind that while I was contracted to be at your home everything was good if a problem is noticed you can be rest assured I will convey that information to you. That's the benefit of using my home watch services things happen and the sooner you get them addressed the less expensive they normally will cost you.
Do you provide any other services?

Whatever services you need I can likely help you with in some manner. I am not a licensed contractor so therefore I can not do construction work personally on your home but I am happy to facilitate helping you with whatever you need. I have managed the construction of hundreds of homes through working for one of America's largest homebuilders. I am familiar with all aspects of home construction.
